Today 15 April at 5pm, in the general church of Santa Maria Monticelli in Rome, the Congregation of the Doctrinaries experienced the priestly ordination of the deacons Ezéchiel Hakizimana, Gilbert Bigirimana and Benjiamin Irakoze. During the celebration it was Msgr. Vilson Dias de Oliveira, doctrinaire bishop of Limeira in Brazil, to lay his hands on the new priests, originally from Burundi.
Liturgical feast of San Cesare in all the doctrinaire communities, this year on April 17, the first day after the Easter Octave. In Santa Maria in Monticelli, the general house in Rome, as per tradition, all the doctrinaire professed renewed their vows in front of the urn with the remains of the founder.
