On Sunday 8 June 2025, the Solemnity of Pentecost, at 10:30 am, the Indian novices Nathaniel Dhan Barla and Aman Aditya Horo pronounced their temporary profession during the Eucharistic concelebration presided over by the Superior General, Father Sergio La Pegna, with other Doctrinaries brothers and with the participation of many faithful.
A great celebration for the Congregation and for the parish community of Santa Maria dei Barbuti in Fratte di Salerno, entrusted to the Doctrinal Fathers, where Nathaniel and Aman were able to experience, during their Novitiate, the joy of being catechists, thanks to the welcome and accompaniment of the parish priest Father Rocco Caruso and Brother Jean-Claude, first collaborator of the Oratory San Cesare de Bus.
The parish catechists helped Nathaniel and Aman to live with children, boys and girls an engaging and creative catechism journey in the footsteps of St. Caesar that Nathaniel and Aman greatly appreciated.
Joy and emotion accompanied Nathaniel and Aman at the moment of their temporary profession. At the end of the celebration many parishioners approached to embrace the two new professed, won over by their smiles and the nostalgia they showed for the lack of their families.
The party ended in the parish hall with refreshments. To Nathaniel and Aman our affectionate wishes, wishing them to be “good Doctrinaries”.
