‘We are Cesar-stock, a union of stories and talents, young men and women from all over Italy, who create spaces for meeting and exchange. In the footsteps of Saint Caesar, we walk in friendship, and by supporting one another, we create a mosaic of living fragments’.
This synthesis – developed by the young Cesar-stock members during their last meeting, held from 3 to 5 October 2025 at the Casa dell’Amicizia in Almese (Turin) – well explains the doctrinaries movement of youth vocational ministry.
In Almese, about ten young people also recorded “Cesar-song,” a song created during the camp in Chiotto (CN) this summer, which you will soon be able to sing in the liturgy.
Also in Almese, the idea—and the possibility—of hosting the next summer camp in the land of Saint Caesar, in France, in Cavaillon and its surroundings, was born, and a work plan was prepared for the project’s self-financing.
We invite you to follow the Cesar-stock youth’s initiatives on social media, to raise awareness of the project, and to participate in the initiatives proposed in parishes and doctrinal communities, thus contributing concretely and practically to the growth of the Congregation’s vocational ministry.
The goal is to reach more and more young people, not only from our communities: to help them encounter the Lord, learn to love him, and recognize him in all the brothers and sisters they meet on their journey of sanctification.
For this reason, each year, various initiatives are proposed, offered to everyone as opportunities to grow in this knowledge and love of Christ. You can find them in the calendar below: be good promoters of them in every environment. Below is a brief overview of the individual events. During the winter meeting, from December 26 to 30, 2025, young people from across Italy will gather to recognize in Saint Caesar a timely witness and master of discernment, and to grow in their personal relationship with God and in friendship.
The summer camp from August 21 to 30, 2026, will take place in the very land of Saint Cesare, allowing us to experience him more deeply, visiting the places most significant to his life, pausing to reflect and pray, guided by his guidance. Having accepted God’s invitation to become a catechist, Cesare began gathering young people to join him in his mission: we will strive to be part of that youth, to recapture their enthusiasm, joy, generosity, and commitment.
There are also two opportunities to enjoy a taste of the beauty of the spiritual exercises: from April 30 to May 3 and, alternatively, from May 29 to June 2, both in 2026. This introduction to the exercises helps us re-examine our lives in the light of God’s Word and deepen our understanding of the tools of spiritual discernment, so we can begin to question God more seriously about His plan for each of us.
For those who are open to the possibility that the Lord is calling them to consecrated life, a few days, from May 15 to 17, 2026, in a doctrinaries community in Rome, where we will try to deepen the meaning of this vocation, experiencing it directly.
The Cavaillon 2026 project was launched on November 16, simultaneously throughout Italy and in collaboration with the Doctrinarian Family Movement. The goal is ambitious: to allow all those who wish to share this experience to participate, without cost becoming an obstacle; at the very least, eliminating both travel expenses to Cavaillon and transportation to France. This will require direct support, but also, and above all, publicizing the project throughout the community.
