Annual alumni reunion on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in the chapel of the Negrone Institute in Vigevano.
The Mass was concelebrated by Monsignor Maurizio Gervasoni, Bishop of Vigevano, and by the Doctrinaries Giorgio Levorato and Giambattista Carnevale Garè. Also participating were Andrea Ceffa, Mayor of the city and a former student of Negrone, and Andrea Sala, Regional Councilor.
During the liturgical celebration there were intense moments of emotion and attentive participation on the part of all those present.
As we left the Chapel, this year too, Father Giorgio Levorato delighted us by giving each of us a package of “delicate and fragrant DOP lavender from Provence.”
After the ritual photos, thanks to the interest and commitment of the Bishop and local administrators, the company moved to one of the refectories of the Negrone Institute for a convivial lunch with friends.
How much emotion was evident in everyone’s eyes as they found themselves sharing lunch in the same places where they had eaten it as teenagers. And many remembered the meals they had hastily consumed to meet up, punctually, at the sports fields where one of the unforgettable and memorable tournaments organized by Father Giorgio with the help of the other assistants would take place.
For lunch, we were joined by Father Cesare Silva and Father Osvaldo Andreoli, also former students, whose eyes were filled with joy at meeting and embracing the old companions with whom they had shared three years of their lives.
Between courses, many anecdotes were shared, recalling the carefree time we’d spent together. And, almost before we knew it, the afternoon flew by; see you next year.
