On Sunday, November 30, 2025, the doctrinaries community of Gitega began pastoral activity in the branch of Nyabibuye, in Burundi, which will soon become a parish.
During the mass, Monsignor Bonaventura Nahimana, Archbishop of Gitega, introduced Father Gilbert as the leader and the doctrinaries brothers of the community who will assist him.
Father Sergio La Pegna, Superior General of the Congregation, invited everyone to pray for his doctrinaries brothers and for all the people of Nyabibuye, asking for the intercession of Saint Caesar and wishing them a happy Advent journey.
