Exactly one year after its reopening, after five years of work, this is how the ancient Notre Dame-Saint Véran cathedral in Cavaillon appeared on the evening of December 15, 2025.
It is the cathedral where Saint Cesar de Bus was baptized on Sunday, February 3, 1544, on the very day of his birth. In the same cathedral, Saint Cesar was ordained a priest on a day in August 1582.
It was in this cathedral that he gathered the people of Cavaillon, especially the children, teaching them the path that leads to the encounter with God… in a word, he taught catechism.
The cathedral sparkles with lights that herald the approaching Christmas.
